Mark Ricardo’s practice focuses on commercial acquisitions and sales, asset management, real estate portfolio repositioning, commercial leasing and business transactions. Prior to joining REC he practiced real estate, tax and corporate law with the law firms of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP and General Counsel, PC and was the Founder and President of Tiber Creek Investment Management, LLC.
EDUCATION
Mr. Ricardo received his B.A. cum laude from Wake Forest University in 1991, his J.D. cum laude from Syracuse University in 1997 and a joint LL.M in Taxation and Securities and Financial Regulation from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2000. As a J.D. candidate, Mr. Ricardo was nominated to the Justinian Honorary Law Society and was an editor of the Syracuse Journal of Legislation & Policy. He is a member of the Virginia, District of Columbia and North Carolina Bars and is a licensed Virginia real estate broker.
